The 1870 Society Virtual Annual Lunch was held in September 2021 and focused on the future of children’s cancer care.

Hosted by Sue Hunt, Chief Executive Officer, The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Foundation, the webinar featured a thought-provoking discussion with one of our most inspiring new leaders, Professor David Eisenstat, Director of the Children’s Cancer Centre at the RCH.

Professor Eisenstat commenced as the Director of the Children’s Cancer Centre in November 2020, having moved from Canada. In his presentation, Professor Eisenstat provided an insight into his extraordinary work so far and his vision for the future of paediatric oncology care at the hospital.
