On Wednesday 23 August, Sue Hunt AM, Chief Executive Officer, The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Foundation, hosted an In Conversation event about Cardiology at the RCH.
Sue was joined by four leading cardiology experts from the RCH: Professor Michael Cheung, Director of Cardiology; Dr Ben Davies, Consultant Cardiac Surgeon; Dominique Morsman, Clinical Nurse Consultant; and Artressa Ng, Clinical Nurse Consultant.
The event was an insight into the RCH as the largest paediatric cardiac centre in Australia and a world leader in cardiac care. The RCH cardiology department is home to the National Paediatric Heart Transplant Centre, catering for patients needing heart transplantation from all over Australia.
The conversation also touched on the impact of philanthropy on the significant advancements across cardiology, and the many ways in which your support is helping to change the future of children’s health.
If you would like to learn more about the ways in which you can support the RCH Foundation, either through a philanthropic contribution or by leaving a Gift in your Will, we would love to hear from you.
