Main funding purpose: Area of greatest need
The story so far
The members of Werribee Ladies for Kids Auxiliary had previously supported Pankina Auxiliary before deciding to form their own Auxiliary in 2013.
The Auxiliary has a wonderful network of volunteers who knit, sew and give their time at the monthly stalls in Main Street. It also holds a week long stall at the local plaza and stalls at shopping centres and have participated in the Kids Day Out on Good Friday. The Heathglen Retirement Village is a great supporter of the Auxiliary, donating all the proceeds from its weekly knitting/craft group.
Werribee Ladies for Kids Auxiliary has supported Autism research, Music Therapy and purchased equipment for other departments of the RCH.
2023/2024 Auxiliary Report
Our Auxiliary has had a brilliant year. We run a Bunnings stall one weekend a month which brings in around $1,200. Other fundraisers included a Bunnings sausage sizzle, which raised about $2,000, a meat raffle at the local sports club which raised close to $5,000, a stall and raffle at a local retirement village, which raised $1,200 and the ever-faithful donation tin which saw around $500.
